12-step intervention

We offer a daily Christian 12-Step program for all of our participants.

It has been proven effective in AA, NA and is effective with all kinds of addictive behavior.

The participation in these groups is mandatory but progress is based on the
participants true desire for real lasting change and freedom from addiction.

Our program is not for HARDCORE drug addicts but is geared towards experimental and minor addiction.

Schooling

We offer non-grade specific courses in Math, Science, History, and English Literature.

These courses are integrated into our sailing and sea school program so as to make the best use of where we are and the experiences of the participants.

For Example:
Math – Navigation problems are used to show real uses for trigonometry and algebra.

Science – The study of marine life and marine ecosystems

History – Study will be geared toward maritime history of the US and the history of the areas we are actually sailing in.

English Literature – The participants will be required to read and be tested on famous American Literary works from poetry to Novels.

Bible Study

Through Bible study we teach that we can come to know ourselves as being “in Christ”, and we are called into His Kingdom, to serve God with all of our hearts.

It is only by recognizing God’s forgiveness and grace in our life that we can become fulfilled, happy, and in control.

Our destiny is to live “in Him.” When we seek the comforts offered by the world we become deceived, unhappy, and out of control. Really, it is quite simple. We can either live our lives fully for Jesus, or spend our lives in regret and loss.
